General Description:

Supervision of Accounting Department Personnel
- Responsible for the supervision, recruiting, time approval, vacation planning, staff training and development
- Oversee the following:

- Review and management of the monthly financial statements

- Recent graduate with a professional accounting designation, CA, CMA, CGA

Full Time Operations Administrator Branch 01 (Edmonton)
This is a permanent full time hourly position where extended hours and weekends will be required. You will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
General Description:
- Plan and schedule equipment and crews with Dispatch and the Branch Manager to achieve maximum customer service standards and cost efficiency. Liaison with the Sales Dept to ensure customer service requirements are met
- Assist in the hiring of Operational Personnel in accordance with company policy
- Data entry of applicable move information into Matco Moves/Van Line systems associated with the completion of paperwork
- Reviewing and authorizing submitted time sheets for data entry into the system. Addressing irregularities with personnel for compliance
- Coordinate training of new and existing employees to comply with company & regulatory standards
- Report and work with HR on injury claims and modified work assignments
- Maintain equipment standards as well as associated administrative dispatch duties
- Participate as an employer representative on the Branch Safety Committee
- Ensure that equipment, uniform, and company policy standards are being maintained by all operational personnel
- Ensure maintenance and repairs of equipment as required and in accordance with policy
- Compile applicable personnel information including requested days off, hours of service and reporting of disciplinary issues to the Branch Manager
- Answering the phones in dispatch - taking care of driver, customer needs/concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended lengths of time & have use of hands for
data entry
- Frequent up and down motion from chair to dispatch board & climbing
stairs periodically
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Good command of the English language both verbal and written
- Telephone skills are required
- Must be able to work overtime when required
Work Experience & Education Requirements:
- Post Secondary School or equivalent experience
- HHG's experience an asset
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of excel and data base applications

- Must be able to safely lift and carry weights of 10 to 50 lbs without assistance, and 50 to 100 lbs plus with a second man

General Description:
- Loading and Unloading of freight from various carriers

- Freight inspection & proper labeling
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and organized

- Work with dispatch for scheduling inbound and outbound freight
- Unloading Southbound freight shipments
- Advise dispatch or supervisor any freight damage concerns
- Helping warehouse personnel loading northbound trailers

FULL TIME SWAMPER/LABORER Branch 11 (Calgary)
General Description:
- Manual Loading and unloading of household goods and office furniture
- Disassemble and re-assemble of furniture, wrapping, padding and some packing of items may be required
- Laying out of floor runners at residence
- On site clean up at residences of packing debris and carton removal
- Working with a partner to use dollies and straps to move very heavy items
- Taking inventory of articles being moved noting existing defects or scratches
- Breaking down of packing material, folding pads, and other general warehouse duties including sweeping
- Shoveling snow may be required during the winter months
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary to complete assignments
- A class 5 license may be required to drive pack vans to transport crew members and materials to job sites

FULL TIME Driver (Calgary)
General Description:
- Class 5 and/or Class 5 with air brake endorsement, or Class 3 with air
- Manual Loading and unloading of household goods, office furniture and freight, whilst providing direction to on site crews as to van or container placement of articles to minimize damage to the load
- Supervision of on site crews as well participation in the assembly and disassembly of furniture, wrapping, padding and packing of items, and inventory or articles noting existing defects
- Reporting to dispatch any customer concerns or crew injuries at the job site
- Working with a partner to use dollies and straps to move very heavy items and instructing on site crews in safety protocol for lifting and preparing the site to minimize personal injuries
- Ensuring vans/containers have the proper equipment & pads, and are cleaned at the end of shift
- Completion of Pre-Trip and post trip inspections, and drivers logs as per NSC requirements
- Participation in all safety and training initiatives required by company policy for drivers
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary to complete assignments. Out of town travel will be required on occasion.
- Must complete one rotation as a driver representative on the Branch Safety Committee
- Other duties as assigned and may require warehouse and other general labor assignments during slower periods
